DEEP Trust Organizes 5-Day Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Camp in Hyderabad Hyderabad, October 2025: In an effort to promote early detection and preventive healthcare among women, DEEP Trust (Disease Eradication through Education and Prevention Trust) successfully organized a five-day Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Camp in Hyderabad. The initiative focused on educating women about breast health, encouraging timely screening, and offering counselling support for early diagnosis and care. Camp Highlights Duration: 5 Days Locations: Ibrahimbagh and Golconda, Hyderabad Total Women Screened: 517 Mammograms Conducted: 296 Abnormal Cases Identified: 27 Screening Process To ensure a smooth and comprehensive experience, the camp followed a structured flow: Awareness Sessions: Educating women on breast health and the importance of early detection. Registration: Organized and participant-friendly registration process. Clinical Examinations: Conducted by qualified medical professionals. Mammography/Ultrasound: For women requiring detailed screening. Follow-Up Counselling: Provided to high-risk individuals for timely intervention and guidance. This systematic approach ensured that participants not only received screening but also understood the next steps in their health journey. Why Awareness and Early Detection Matter Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers affecting women worldwide and in India.
